Book the trip, take the ride!
A message from a Beach Glass community member…
CHOOSE YOU.
Book the trip, take the ride!!!
Do you know the life-changing inspiration you can bring to your loved ones and strangers alike when you actively choose yourself and decide to make living your best life a priority?
It’s not always easy to choose ourselves, especially when the messaging we receive about our worth and value is often related to how we show up or care for others; be a good daughter, sister, friend, wife, mother, etc.
It’s tough when the people closest to us cannot keep their critical voices to themselves or cannot pause from projecting their insecurities as we do the heavy lifting of birthing a new, evolved version of our best selves.
KEEP GOING!!
I recently quit my corporate job and started my own company (again). This time around, I knew better than to tell friends, family members, etc., about what I was up to until I had enough momentum to be unscathed by opinions. I kept hush and executed with tunnel vision toward my goals while reassuring my inner child that I was there for her, we were going to make things happen, and have fun along the way.
In just a few months, my business took off. People in the industry were super supportive and I had a plethora of inbound leads, more than I could have imagined!
As a reward to my adult self for being brave and my inner child (Asher Basher) for sticking it out with me, I booked a solo mission to one of my favorite places in the world - Aspen, Colorado.
Mountains, sunshine, and skiing SOLO was the best gift I could have given myself for staying true to my dreams against the odds and naysayers.
I booked a luxe Airbnb outside of town and decided I would allow myself to get inspired about someday having my own place in Aspen. Even though it felt uncomfortable to treat myself at first, the whole experience ultimately did wonders for my self-worth. I trusted myself more as I provided a safe space to enjoy and explore. I got to sit with the discomfort and feel into the luxury I created for myself and then learned to ease into the embrace of it all.
I cannot wait to do it again!
